Luxurious Dinner
The scene was set with bottles of Verve Clicquot & Meerlust.  The table was set in subtle tones of chocolaty browns, French vanillas and hints of white.  The floral centerpiece flowed from minimalist crystal vases to organic orchids to colour personified creating a wealth of visual stimulus for the guests as they sat down to dinner.  Delicious warm goats cheese with sautéed red onions, juicy fillet with a mélange of seasonal baby vegetables and a trio of decadent desserts.  Ladies also enjoyed gifts of homemade French macaroons neatly packed into luxurious boxes all tied together with a selection of satin ribbons.

Grand Safari
We created a 16 course evening feast in the bush, and a luxurious continental breakfast at a dam the following morning.  The dinner included African Sushi, Zebra Pate Crouté with Organic Apple and Apricot Chutney, Roast Corn Salads served in polished Perlemoen Shells, Hot North African Peanut Soup in miniature Calabash Cups and Pickled Fish served in bamboo bowls.  Each course presented to the table on rustic Railway Sleeper trays.

E Bucks
When E-Bucks lunched their “Rewards of Choice” initiative, Ginger Grape was there to offer loads of choice.  The brief was simple: a hearty breakfast with loads of choice.  We pre-packed a variety of breakfast items and created a gourmet breakfast buffet.  Guests loaded their personal cake boxes with cereals and 500ml Clover milks, baguettes, smoothies, fruit and bagels which they enjoyed throughout the day.

Rosebank Hospital
Lucas Radebe was the guest speaker at the opening of the Rosebank Hospital’s “Centre for Sports Medicine and Orthopedics” – which was a momentous occasion for the hospital.  Hosting the event within the actual doctors rooms was quite another!  The foyer was filled with crisp clinically white tall cocktail tables in ultra modern stretch cloths, and flanked by tall white bar stools.  Colour was fused into the rooms with vibrant flowers in modern silver vases.  The food was simple, healthy (of course!) and equally colourful.

The White House High Tea
A glorious day in an old English garden with endless rows of Lavender – this was truly a High Tea for Cecil Georges 90th Birthday.  Enjoyed by close relatives and friends, The White House provided the perfect backdrop for this wonderful celebration.  Guests enjoyed traditional fare of Cucumber sandwiches, beef brochettes, crab cakes (Ginger Grapes Signature dish), strawberry cheesecakes, delicious cupcakes, and an old fashioned chocolate birthday cake.

Famous Brands
When Famous Brands launched their own Mineral Water – Bonne Aqua – Ginger Grape created a visual feast of blues and turquoises to match the brand.  Cupcakes included the waters signature water droplet.  Blue glasses were filled with crunchy muesli & yoghurt, and the mini pancake stacks were accompanied by bubblegum blue syrup for the sweet toothed! Food was styled on glass shelves suspended by glass cubes with live white fish – a real talking point of the event!
